The Yamaha SG-800s was the work horse model of Yamaha's flagship SG range that was designed to compete with the Gibson Standard and became affectionate known as the "Les Paul Killer" . Handcrafted in Japan Its features include a Mahogany/maple body with a set Mahogany neck with Rosewood fretboard and dot inlays paired with 2 powerful Alnico V pick ups with coil tapping as factory standard, thhis is a rocky little brother of the acclaimed Yamaha SG-2000 and SG-1000 that was developed back in the late 1970’s

Condition : overall good all original condition for its age. Some general age related wear, dings / nicks in various areas but no breaks or repairs. Slight Finish clouding on the back. Frets are in good shape with plenty of life left and electronics are fully functioning including the push push coil taps. Comes complete with original yamaha hard case
