1976 Antoria 345 (Gibson replica)
Antonia 1970’s Gibson 345 replica
Really cool vintage guitar here with lots of mojo! These guitars were japans more affordable answer to the Gibson flagship models of the sixties and seventies. This particular model is based on the Gibson 345 with the varitone switch, which in itself is quite rare, especially in this colour way. Built in the matsumoku factory, which churned out many different makes and models, this guitar is essentially an Ibanez or an Aria Pro with Antoria on the headstock instead. After some research it appears Antoria were an English based company who imported many of these high-grade Japanese instruments from the 50’s thru 80’s before going bust. It’s in decent condition for a fifty year old guitar and was serviced recently by luthier Tony Thompson. Reason for selling is it’s just not getting enough use really and has spent most of the last two years sitting in its hard case. Open to reasonable offers or any questions just ask!
