@rs25 hey, they're a mix of mechanical cable and hydraulic (oil) calipers. If you Google 'zoom HB 100' it'll explain it alot better than I can. I couldn't convert to a full hydraulic system as theres a sensor in both levers that shuts off the motor when you brake.
