Specialized Secteur road bike fitted with a Swytch electric conversion kit. It is in excellent condition. The bike has not been used since December 2022 due to ill health and just 6 months after the conversion kit was fitted. The battery has been carefully maintained while not in use.

@Tazmon I kept the battery indoors and charged it up to 50% and checked every six weeks or so and topped it up. The bike was not used from December 2022 but the battery was carefully maintained during the period the bike was not used.

@Tazmon It was converted from a normal bike to an e-bike by fitting an electric motor, battery and pedal-assist system. When you pedal, the motor kicks in to assist you, up to 25 km/h. There’s no throttle, so it rides like a normal bike, just with electric assistance when pedalling. The motor is fitted to the front wheel and the battery is on the handle bars.

@frank124 No throttle — it’s pedal assist only. The motor assists up to 25 km/h, and it has 21-speed Shimano gears. You can of course pedal faster than 25 km/h, but the electric assistance cuts out at 25 km/h.
