The SP1 folds to just 80 cm — within every major European rail network's free carry-on limit — so you can board any metro, train, or plane across Europe without an extra bike ticket. Folding bikes ride free on Deutsche Bahn (U-Bahn, S-Bahn, ICE), Eurostar (London–Paris–Brussels), NS Dutch Rail (all day, no reservation), SNCF French Rail, Trenitalia, and National Rail UK. At 120Wh, the battery is below the IATA 160Wh aviation limit — declare it at check-in and bring it on as carry-on. One bike, the whole continent.

Deutsche Bahn ICE: folded bikes permitted in designated luggage spaces, no bike reservation fee. Eurostar: folded bikes treated as standard luggage — no bike supplement, no pre-booking required. NS (Netherlands): folded bikes free all day (max 45×86×80 cm), no Fietskaart needed. SNCF (France): folded bikes free as luggage (max 90×130×50 cm when folded). Trenitalia (Italy): one folded bike per passenger, free on all regional trains. National Rail (UK): folded bikes free on all trains, no reservation needed.
