Hi Sinead,

Sorry, I see it was bought in July 2023..nearly three years ago.

That means that neither the battery nor the electrics nor any of the parts are under warranty anymore and that is problematic.

I will think about it and revert later on today with my decision.

Hi again Sinead,

Before I make contact by phone to pick up the bike, could you tell me when the bike was bought - approximate date and if they have an invoice/receipt. Either an e-receipt or a hard copy.

The reason I ask this is because I have another electric bike which I bought from Decathlon and the battery and electrics sometimes give trouble....that is just the way it is. These bikes and batteries have a 2 year guarantee but if you have to replacement the battery after that, it costs a whopping 450 euro...about have the price of a new bike.

@Diesel lily it was bought in July 2023 but never used. My mum had a hipp replacement surgery and couldn't use it and was afraid of a fall after surgery. It has been stored indoors under cover.
