Washburn Bantam Double Neck Bass

Washburn Bantam Double Neck Bass Washburn Bantam Double Neck Bass Electric Basses

The Washburn B62 Bantam Double Neck Bass is an extremely rare double-necked headless bass made in the 1980s.

4-string fretless / 4-string Fretted.

A very rare bass, only made for one year.

Set-necks with rosewood boards. Passive bass, with controls for both fretless and fretted Vol / Vol / Tone and on/off toggle switch.

Everything is original; electronics, hardware etc. it even has the original Washburn case.

The bridge and headstock design is quite remarkable in that it can be adjusted very minutely; Tuners and both truss-rods are fine.

Both basses take normal bass strings.

This is an extremely rare and unique find.

With two necks, one fretted and the other fretless, it is possible to instantly switch between phrases and expressions.

It is a one-of-a-kind bass that not only makes an impact on stage, but is also very practical.

The headless construction is also characterized by its good balance and easy handling, and strongly reflects the cutting-edge design philosophy of the time.
