Warwick Fortress One Active 1993
Warwick Fortress Made in Germany 1993. Maple body and full wenge neck. These necks are much better than the later Ovangkol necks and are of a slim Jazz like profile.
Bell brass frets.
Brass adjustable nut.
Chrome hardware.
MEC passive pickups in p/j format.
Fortress basses were sold in passive and active formats. This was passive but has been fitted with a genuine Warwick 60014 two band eq preamp. Seen in photos. Original passive controls etc will be included in the sale. Straplocks included.
Great punchy bass.
Very good balance due to the extended upper horn. These are known among Warwicks to be one of the best balance basses for playing.
