Precision Style Bass upgraded
This is a significantly upgraded Precision-style bass. Whilst it boasts some genuine Fender parts THIS IS NOT A FENDER, but was recently mistakenly valued at €2500 by a leading Dublin music store partly due to the misleading head stock decal.
It has Alan Entwistle PBNX neodynium split pick-up that sounds amazing and are in my opinion superior to standard Fender stock pickups.
A Fender Hi-Mass bridge that improves intonation stability, and sustain.
.
A pearloid pickguard, and genuine Fender control knobs.
I own and have owned several Fenders with which this compares well.
The body is actually an SX, with maple neck and SX neck plate. This bass was faulty when I got it hence the refurb and upgrades.
It plays nicely and sounds very well. Easily as good as my Lakland Skyline Duck Dunn 14/64.
The body has a fair few dings, but it has to be played and heard to be appreciated.
Whilst this plays nicely, looks like and sounds better than a Fender I must reiterate it is NOT as I have no intention to mislead potential buyers.
Ideal for players that want the vintage sound, feel and look without breaking the bank.
