lakland skyline 55-01 lakland skyline 55-01 Electric Basses

PRICE DROP

Selling this beauty as I only bought recently but have realised it does t really have a place in the gigs im playing so it deserves a better home.

Plays beautifully,

Fresh set of rotosound swing bass strings gone onto it with a setup.

Nordstand passive pickups were installed by previous owner and electronics reverted to passive controls however I do have the original bartolini pickups and original electronics to bring it back to an active bass. Thomann Link is below for stock description

@mallowbass well in my case firstly ive included a set of nordstrand pickups worth 189e new as this was made passive, along with the original bartolini pickups and original active preamp and wiring, secondly im completely open to offers within reason and without losing money for what I spent which I will not disclose obviously in the nature of buying/selling. Thirdly the bass is in excellent condition and in my opinion holds value as i have only had the bass for about 6 months and ive only gigged it maybe 3 or 4 times.

Actually, I asked a similar question to three sellers today. All three are selling used guitars for roughly the same price as they cost new, with only €150–€200 difference. I just don’t think that’s realistic. I noticed that these listings have been up for months already. I really don’t think anyone is going to buy guitars at those prices.

I’m genuinely just trying to understand how you arrive at a price like that when selling a used instrument. I’m not trying to be rude, I’m just curious about how you see it.

@mallowbass i presume you meant this comment for the other lakland 55-01 being sold?

This bass is being sold new at Thomann for €1,100. Brand new, with a warranty, returns, all the usual terms and conditions, and without any modifications or work done to it. I’m just genuinely curious: how do you arrive at a price like that when you’re selling a used instrument?
