The sunburst U-BASS-SUB4FS from Kala is a 4-string Solid Body SUB U-Bass that produces the same pitches as a standard bass guitar. It features a Shadow active pickup system with volume control and a 2-band EQ. Its size makes it ideal for the traveling or gigging musician who wants the tone and playability of an electric bass in a smaller form.
The 21" scale U-Bass is strung with proprietary polyurethane strings that incorporate a great bass feel with balanced tension. It features a poplar wood body, a bolt-on maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and Hipshot tuners.
