Hot Wire/Warmoth J, Q-Tuners & ACG/East pre

Custom order from Hot Wire in Germany, almost 20 years ago, I think. 5 string J bass with Q-Tuner pickups. I didn't get along with the original neck so replaced it with a custom order from Warmoth.

Specs are:
Ash body, Hot Wire's Funky 77 model i.e. 70's pickup positioning
ABM brass bridge
Warmoth US Deluxe 5 flame maple neck,
Nut Width: 1-7/8"
Back Shape: Asymmetric
Fret Size: 6230
Radius: 10"
Hipshot USA Ultralite tuners
Q-Tuner Neo Sidewinder pickups, super high-end pickups which have the coils mounted 90 degrees on their sides for enhanced frequency response. These are the first generation and were ordered in black, rather than the usual transparent. Tone manipulation is possible by raising or lowering the poles in the pickup. Even the wires are silver.
ACG EQ-02 filter preamp. Stacked vol & blend, with stacked bass and treble filters with resonance boost. Designed by ACG, made by John East. Ridiculous amount of tone shaping, better explained here

Neck is straight, action is low and everything works as it should. It's an old bass so has been played and there are signs of it. Pics are indicative of condition.

The pickups and filters mean it's definitely not your average J bass. Selling because I just don't play 5 strings any more. Comes with Hotwire branded Canto reinforced soft case.
