Framus Star Bass 5/150 1965

Vintage Framus Star bass 5/150 from approximately 1965. As used by Bill Wyman in the early years of the Rolling Stones. This example has some signs of wear and the action is quite high, could probably do with a neck shim and a set up. The bridge pickup seems to be a replacement and looks like a mosrite copy of some kind. The neck pickup appears to be original and works although it has quite low output. One of the tuners also has been replaced. As you can see in the photos the Framus logo has worn off the headstock. Electronics are working OK and other than the action being high it plays fine.

I think with a little TLC it should be a great instrument with tons of 60s charm.
