Bacchus 24 Handmade M I J
Bacchus 24, handmade by Deviser in Japan in March 2011. When Bacchus say handmade, they actually mean genuinely made by hand, lots of videos of their production process out there.
Black oil finished 2-piece ash body, 3-piece maple neck with quarter-sawn core, 24 fret ebony fretboard with glow-in-the-dark side dots. Wood-covered Bacchus alnico humbuckers with a serial/parallel switch for each pickup paired with a Glockenklang 3-band preamp. Gotoh tuners and bespoke Deviser 2-piece bridge. This is serious business.
Boutique handmade bass in excellent condition, see pics. Whoever had it before me moved the bridge strap hole which was subsequently put back where it should be, see pic. This is the only blemish, reflected in price. Everything works as it should. I imported this from Japan in April 2012. Exceptional tonal versatility, superb ergonomics and playability, weighs just under 4kg according to the bathroom scales. 38mm jazz-width nut, low action from the nut to the last fret. Came with a hefty Bacchus gig bag which has a busted zip. Ideal for anyone who is ready to step up from their mass-produced unit shifter.
