Alembic Epic 4 Classic Bass Excellent condition

Beautiful hand crafted Alembic Epic bass. Classic Alembic growling tone, and light well balanced body, which is an absolute joy to play for long gigs.

Amazingly punchy bass really cuts through mix.

Mahogany body with beautiful California Walnut top and Maple accent/veneer. Long scale 34inch 5 piece set neck (three piece Maple, with two Walnut pinstripes), Ebony fretboard. Frets in great condition, bass in excellent condition for its age, just a few very minor dings. Alembic MXY pickups. Gold plated Alembic/Schaller tuners. Volume, pickup pan, bass and treble controls.

Originally specially made for Guitar Centre, Santa Ana, California. Born on 26 Jun 1998. Lovingly cared for 28 years since.

N.B. I have had enlarged 3mm side dot markings professionally installed on neck by renowned luthier Tony Thompson. This was to improve visibility on dark stages and orchestra pits etc.
