2005 German Warwick Corvette.

2005 German Warwick Corvette. 2005 German Warwick Corvette. Electric Basses

2005 German Warwick Corvette Standard for Sale.
4 String, right handed.

This bass has served me very well over the years, but I don't play it as much any more so I have decided to let it go.

This is an actual German made model, not one from the cheaper Rockbass series.

Before putting it up for sale, I got it professionally set up, and and unfortunately the truss rod is very close to its limit, and further adjustments may not be possible, hence the low price.

However, it is set up very well and looks, plays and sound great.

There is a very slight surface level mark on the neck. I tried to take a picture, but it is hard to make out.

Controls are :
Volume (with push/pull passive/active)
Pickup blend
Bass & Treble (stacked pots)

Corvette Standard, 4-string
Natural Oil finish
Swamp Ash body
Ovangkol neck
Chrome hardware

Made in Germany

Comes with a soft gig bag.

@Michael Hritcan: Interested? Yes. But that's my problem, I have too much stuff I don't use and need to start letting some of it go!

Out of interest, what do you have that's not listed?
I absolutely love the look of that Mayones by the way, I'd love to try one some time.

Interested in any ad of mine? I also have other gear that’s not listed.

Thanks for your reply.
I had an acoustic redone by Menapia Guitars in Wexford and it's 100% again.
It's a great looking bass and I'll probably pull the trigger on it but just not sure yet when I'll be able to get up to you.
Thanks

@Moiph: Yes, I'm surprised it hasn't been snapped up, they are great basses. But I'm not too bothered.

@AmcI: Hi, not a stupid question.

It means that if the neck develops a bend, and the truss rod needs to be adjusted to straighten it out there's not a huge amount it can be adjusted as it's pretty much at its limit.
In this case the truss rod would indeed need to be replaced.
However, you might never need to to do that.
I've had this bass for over 15 years and have not had a problem with it. For all I know it could be been like that since the day I got it, but it hasn't affected the playability or sound.
The only reason I know about it is because I gave this bass (along with a guitar ) a professional set up before advertising it for sale. The person who did the work pointed it out to me, I had no idea.
It has nothing to do with why I am selling it.

Sorry for the thicko question but does that mean that the truss rod will possibly need to be replaced in time?

@donedealuser (#41076b): Hi, yes it is still available.
Sorry, but the last thing I need another bass right now!

Hi I was just wondering is this still available? I'd be very interested in it if it is.
I'd be happy to pay cash for it but I also have two other basses I could trade if that's something that would interest you?
I have a Mexican jazz fender that has 2 seymor duncan quarter pounder pick ups in it and I have a schecter bass as well.
Let me know anyhow. Thanks.

This is an absolute steal of a price. I don't know how it hasn't sold yet. If I didn't have a Corvette myself I'd pounce on it. Best of luck.
