1994 Washburn XB-200 Bantam Bass (Mint Condition, 3-Knob Variant) + Fender Hard Case
For sale is a beautiful, flawless 1994 Washburn XB-200 Bantam bass guitar packaged with a genuine Fender hardshell travel case.
This instrument is in excellent condition with zero buckle rash, deep scratches, or electronic crackle. It has been meticulously cared for in a smoke-free studio environment.
Spec Details (1994-2000 Era Profile):
Body & Neck: Offset double cutaway asymmetrical hardwood body with a fast, bolt-on maple neck.
Fingerboard: 24-fret rosewood fingerboard featuring clean, offset pearl dot inlays.
Hardware: Chrome hardware, two-per-side tuners, and a rock-solid fixed bridge.
Pickups: Passive P-style and J-style Washburn WB500 pickups offering a massive tonal range.
Finish: Striking Metallic Red.
⚠️ Important Model Year Variant Note:
While later versions of the XB-200 moved to a 4-knob setup, this highly sought-after early 1994 Korean production run (built by Samick during the acclaimed Grover Jackson design era) features the rare 3-control knob layout (Master Volume, Neck Tone, Bridge Tone) paired with a 3-way pickup selector toggle switch.
Fender Hard Case Included:
The bass comes housed in a genuine Fender hardshell protective case in excellent structural condition (these sell for €80–€100 alone secondhand). Perfect for gigging or safe storage.
Strictly looking for a cash or Revolut sale on collection to clear space.
Condition: Excellent / Mint to my eye. I cannot see any visible dings, scratches, or buckle rash on the body or neck, and the metallic red finish looks incredibly clean. I am not a professional guitar tech, but the bass looks pristine and plays beautifully. Buyers are very welcome to inspect it thoroughly upon collection.
