Rare Gen 1 DW 9000 Double Bass Drum Pedal (DW 9002) with Hardcase and Convertible Slave Pedal

Selling a first-generation DW 9000 Series Double Bass Drum Pedal in great condition, complete with the highly durable, original factory plastic hardcase.

For DW enthusiasts, this specific first-generation model is legendary because the slave pedal can be fully converted into a standalone main single pedal. DW discontinued this feature on later versions, making this generation highly versatile.

Condition Details:
• Overall Functionality: Excellent. The action is incredibly smooth, fast, and light, living up to the 9000 reputation.
• Cosmetics: Very clean overall. There is a minor cosmetic scratch on the baseplate right where the tuning key attaches, and typical light scuffing on the slave pedal where the linkage screws tighten.
• Items Missing/Needed: The second optional nylon strap is missing (the chain drives are perfectly intact and installed). To use the slave pedal as a standalone single pedal, the slave hoop clamp mechanism needs to be replaced.
Includes:
• Primary Main Pedal
• Convertible Slave Pedal
• Heavy-duty Linkage/Drive Shaft
• Original DW Plastic Hardcase
• Dual-sided beaters
