VINTAGE 1960s designer Polly Peck mod wool maxi dress M 10 12 Made in England

True vintage 1960s mod maxi dress by Polly Peck in a wool jersey fabric. The black dress skims the figure, while the skirt flares out flashing a pop of colour in green and blue. The style is of the era, but the design is timeless.

Very high quality material and construction. The wool jersey is super comfortable to wear and move in.

Polly Peck began in 1940 as a small fashion house in London, founded by the husband-and-wife team of Raymond and Sybil Zelker. The clothes were designed by Sybil. By the late 1970s the company was in financial trouble and was sold.

In excellent preloved condition, sold as vintage. This style of dress is becoming much rarer to find in this condition, and size. There is a very faint mark in one of the blue panels, as pictured, I only noticed this when taking photos. Reflected in price.
