Vintage Omega automatic (14k solid gold)

For sale is a very attractive and highly collectible vintage Omega 14k solid gold automatic dress watch.

This all original stunning vintage Omega dress watch is powered by a caliber 351 bumper movement. It benefits from a recent service (paperwork and replaced movement parts are included in the sale).

The watch keeps excellent time. However, the bumper movement, rotating back and forth across a roughly 120-degree arc, is not as efficient as other (more modern) rotor automatic movements and does require more active movement to wind efficiently. I find that an intermittent small manual wind ensures greater power reserve.

The watch case, measuring 34.5mm is reference number 2446 and described online as follows, “case reference 2446 belongs to a beautiful, highly collectible vintage Omega "Bumper" Automatic dress watch, which was first introduced into Omega's International Collection in 1946”.

The dial is all original and in beautiful condition. The plexiglass has a minor scratch at the 4-5 position (evident in pictures) but can be easily buffed out in a few minutes.

Included in the sale is a new brown leather strap with gold-tone buckle, vintage Omega box and June 2026 watch service paperwork.
