@Maryb28 the bed is in secure storage at present. I need assistance to take it out. On last examination there were no marks on the wood. The only metal concerned is in the bed irons and the attachments for holding them. There are no marks on them either. When it comes out of storage I can let you have another picture of the wooden parts - bed head and foot. Regards Moya
