Antique Iron Bed (Double)
Antique iron bed, standard double 4’ 6”. 150cm high at the top, 120cm at the bottom. This was purchased by my mother at auction in the 1980’s, sat in a garage for years, and was fully restored 8 or 9 years ago. It was professionally sandblasted and powder coated, so the paint is very durable. Finials and rails were also professionally treated and polished. I’ve installed modern bed slats so this supports a mattress perfectly. It’s a stunning piece of furniture that blends vintage design with practicality. It was in our spare room so got very little use. Selling with a very lightly used matching 4’ 6” mattress. Disassembled for transport, as per last photo.
