Fabulous Blue onion Ironstone 19 piece tea set

Set of English ironstone tableware in the ever popular blue onion pattern circa 1970.s. The Blue Onion pattern is considered a classic and elegant design.
Consisting of
6 plates measuring circa 7.75 inches
6 saucers measuring circa 5.75 inches
6 cups measuring circa 2.75 inches tall and 3.5 inches in diameter
Bread plate measuring circa 8.75 inches. (slightly different pattern design)
In nice vintage condition for age The original Blue Onion pattern, known as Zwiebelmuster, dates back to the 18th century and was created by Meissen porcelain. While both makers feature blue and white designs, EIT primarily uses ironstone, while the original Blue Onion is porcelain
