Wood kitchen table and bench

Hand made in Donegal 7 years ago, we bought it from a carpenter. Good condition, no damage. Has been in a house with children so there are a few stains, see photos. Measurements:
Table length 178cm, width 90cm, height 78cm
Bench length 152cm, 39cm width, 78cm height

Hi. Does the bench fit underneath the table (could I push the table to the wall with the bench under it when needed?
