Vintage extendable dining table and 4 carved chairs

Beautiful vintage wooden dining set comprising a round extendable dining table, separate extension leaf and 4 matching carved wooden chairs.

Dimensions: table diameter of 120cm. Extender piece is 61cm wide, so fully extended table is 181cm. Table is 75cm tall.

A really characterful, substantial set with lots of lovely detailing. The tabletop has a beautiful starburst wood-grain design, with carved detailing around the table edge/apron. The four matching chairs have particularly decorative carved backs and turned legs.

The table has a very solid central pedestal base and is extremely sturdy and heavy. It opens in the centre to take the separate extension leaf, making it ideal when extra table space is needed.

This is a well-used vintage piece and there are marks, scratches and wear to the finish on the tabletop, which I've tried to show clearly in the photos. It would look beautiful refinished/sanded and revarnished, or could be used as it is if you like the lived-in vintage look. The price reflects the condition.

Collection only. This is a very heavy, substantial table, so buyer will need suitable transport and enough people to lift and remove it. We are unable to assist with lifting. Table top comes off for ease of moving into car.
