@DMBA: Hi, the colour is light grey, as you can see in the photos. The extended part is the same colour and has the same texture as the main tabletop. I’m not sure exactly what the finish is called, but it has a slightly tactile/textured feel to it and is not glossy, if that’s what you mean.
