IKEA Mockelby Oak Dining Table (140cm)

IKEA Möckelby Oak Dining Table (140cm)

Selling our IKEA Möckelby oak dining table. We’ve recently upgraded our dining setup and are looking to pass this on. It’s a brilliantly sturdy, farmhouse-style table that comfortably seats 2 to 4 people.

Dimensions:

Length: 140 cm

Width: 79 cm

Height: 74 cm

Wood & Build Characteristics:

Construction: The tabletop is built with a thick 3mm top layer of solid oak over a particleboard core, while the underframe and cross rails are solid oak. This hybrid construction gives the authentic weight and feel of solid timber while preventing the warping or cracking common in full-slab tables.

Design: It features a full plank design with crafted edges that enhance its rustic, farmhouse expression.

Wood Properties: Oak is an exceptionally durable hardwood with a prominent grain. Every Möckelby table is unique with natural colour shifts, and the wood will naturally darken over time to acquire a rich, golden-brown undertone.

Maintenance: Because the top surface is genuine thick solid wood, it can be sanded down and surface-treated with hardwax oil or lacquer in the future if you ever want to completely refresh its look.

Collection from Lusk, North Co. Dublin. I can dismantle the legs beforehand so the tabletop will easily slide flat into the back of an estate car or hatchback with the seats down.
