Hi, it’s solid wood as far as I’m aware.
I think it would work really well if it was sanded & re painted/varnished.

what materials the tabletop and base are made from? In particular, is the tabletop solid wood or veneer?

I’m planning to sand and stain the table a darker colour to match my other furniture, so I just want to make sure it’s suitable for that.
