Pentax WG-1000 Grey
The Pentax WG-1000 is an entry-level Compact camera designed specifically for capturing the underwater world.

A Camera like the WG-1000 offers advantages that Smartphones and other cameras do not. Indeed, this rugged Camera can be used in the wettest and roughest conditions, such as while diving, canoeing or mountain climbing.

With the 16-megapixel BSI CMOS Sensor, you enjoy sharp, fine image quality and can adjust sensitivity up to an ISO of 3200. The Anti-Shake mode also ensures that you are provided with stable images even in rough conditions. In addition, the WG-1000 is equipped with a 4x optical Zoom lens with a focal length of 27-108mm. The lens features an actual optical zoom, so you won't lose quality across the entire zoom range. Video is recorded in Full HD image quality at 30 fps in the H-264 codec.

To achieve the best result in the situation you are shooting, Pentax has equipped the Camera with seven 'shooting modes' that are automatically activated in the right situation. In addition, Pentax has long offered the option of layering colour filters over your images, including in the WG-1000. You now choose from 20 colour modes to customise your images entirely next to your wishes.

The WG-1000 can be sterilised with special solvents containing ethanol, sodium hypochlorite or chlorine dioxide. This means the Camera can also be used in medical institutions or on construction sites.

The included O-CC180 cover keeps the Camera looking like new, even after the wildest of adventures. The O-ST180 strap allows easy attachment and makes sure you always have your Camera at hand.
