The screen has a broken connection where it connects to the camera body . I never bothered to research how to fix it so the camera has seen very little use.

There's only two possible solutions

1) buy a new screen (I saw 20 euro on eBay and 15 on Ali express etc so it doesn't have to cost the earth)

Or 2) get someone into electronics to solder or fix the connection which forms part of the screen
