Vintage 1940s Emerald & Diamond Ring - Rose Gold

For sale is this stunning emerald and diamond cluster ring dating from around the 1940s.

The ring design is very unusual and unique. It is set in the centre with an Asscher cut emerald, weighing approx. 0.7ct and is raised above an oblong platinum setting, set with 14 graduating round brilliant cut diamonds totalling approx. 1.8ct!!!

The setting is raised above a stunning 18ct rose gold band with four hooped ring shoulders, giving this ring a very Egyptian feel. The colour of the gold is a beautiful rose gold which does not come across in the images, it must be seen.

The emerald is a stunning vivid green with excellent clarity and is in superb condition.

The finger size is a N (US 6.5) and can easily be re-sized up or down to suit any finger. The hallmarks have worn away but the ring has been fully tested for 18ct gold and platinum.

The ring was found in France but this ring could possibly be Russian.
