Antique Edwardian Fire Opal & Diamond Necklace

A magnificent diamond necklace dating from around 1910.

The necklace is set with a simple stunning trillion cut fire opal held in a collet set yellow gold setting with milligrain edging and set at the base of an incredible ornate diamond setting.

The design has scrolleing a geometric panels of platinum set throughout with old cut diamonds which are simply dazzling. The largest diamond weighs approx. 0.6ct and there is over 3ct of diamonds!!!!

The colour of the fire opal is like flames and offset perfectly against the stunning white diamonds.

The platinum and diamond encrusted setting is suspended from a simple 14ct white gold chain with a box, slide and click clasp with safety setting.

The setting measures 8cm drop and the chain measure 39cm in length or 15"inches. You could easily have it extended if needed by adding a section of extra chain.
