Intel Nuc Mini Pc With 8gb Ddr4 Ram

Selling my Intel NUC8 i3 mini PC. This compact system is in excellent condition and has recently been fitted with a brand new fan so it runs quietly and cool. I used this reliably as a home media server for years, but I simply have no use for it anymore.

It is an incredibly versatile little machine that is perfect for a home lab, media center, or a dedicated retro emulation console (Batocera/RetroArch).

Specs & What's Included:

CPU: Intel Core i3 (8th Gen NUC8)

RAM: 8GB DDR4 HyperX RAM

Graphics: Intel Iris Graphics (surprisingly capable for its size)

Accessories: Includes the original power block and mounting bracket.

Storage: Please note that this unit does not come with any storage installed. You will need to drop in your own drive and install an operating system.

Condition & Full Transparency:
The PC is in excellent condition overall. The only minor issue I ever encountered was that the built-in HDMI port would occasionally fail to wake my monitor from sleep. I’m unsure if this was a hardware quirk or just a compatibility issue with my specific display. Regardless, I completely solved this by using a USB-C to HDMI adapter instead. I am including this USB-C to HDMI adapter with the sale so you won't have any issues!

Emulation Potential:
If you are interested in using this as a retro console, they work wonderfully. Check out this YouTube video to see a similar NUC8 running a Batocera gaming setup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rN8jljQeuMA (Note: The video shows the i5 version, but this i3 is still highly capable for standard emulation).
