@Butler15: and remove themselves from the equation, but we deal with all warranty queries for our customers directly to provide them with a solid service. This again takes man hours, and has overheads

4) We are at the mercy of our suppliers, but we do try to make a small profit for ourselves. The majority of the €850 for example, goes to our suppliers, with only a minimal amount going to us.

I have no doubt that you may be able to build this PC for cheaper if an Amazon sale came around, and if someone could do it for cheaper themselves I would encourage it, but when you factor in the commitment to quality, man hours, price reliability and the decent gaming monitor and keyboard and mouse sets, we're quite competitive in price compared to other retailers.

@Butler15: Hi Butler15

Firstly, thank you for your feedback, it is appreciated.

In reply to your comment, I feel a little insight into how we arrived at our pricing may help with this misunderstanding.

We primarily set that price for a number of factors. 1) To cover the equipment and other costs 2) To cover fair wages for skilled staff 3) To cover warranty service 4) To make a profit

1) Due to the nature of the IT component market, and availability of specific parts, the price we pay for the equipment changes very regularly, and a part that is great value one day, could be out of stock or quite expensive the following day. We're a small business so we simply cannot afford to buy huge quantities of stock to secure a price. However, our customer expects a stable price, therefore our pricing needs to be set to ensure that we can continue offering a product reliably, at a stable price.

2) We order, build and test every component that we supply with our expert team. This can take quite some time to ensure that everything is carried out to a high standard, and that everything is working. This therefore needs to be in our pricing.

3) We take pride in our warranty service. Some retailers may simply point a customer in the direction of a manufacturer a
