Mid-Century Mexican Alpaca Silver & Shell Inlay Scarab Beetle Pill Box from 1950s to 1970s with nice patina

This piece features a striking, stylized scarab beetle design on the lid - inspired by the mid-century Egyptian Revival design movement.

The beetle's body is intricately handcrafted using hand-cut, inlaid tiles of iridescent green/pink abalone shell and milky-white mother-of-pearl, separated by dark matrix inlay channels.

Craftsmanship: The interior of the container shows authentic artisan workshop traits, including a traditional circular solder vent hole on the inner rim, visible seam lines, and minor internal flux/solder discoloration from the manufacturing process.
