Texas license plate - early 2000's

Original Texas license plate off my 93 FJ80. The background pattern was adopted by the Texas State Legislature in 1999 but wasn't produced for issuance until mid 2001. It remained the standard plate until 2013 when Texas returned to a plain white and black color scheme to reduce costs.

Plate is machine painted steel and was produced at the prison production facility at Huntsville State Penitentiary. The security waterprint identifying the plate as an actual plate and Huntsville as the place of origin is still plainly visible when the plate is viewed at the right angle. Plate bears the imprint of my mounting screws in each top corner. It measures 12 by 6 inches.
