Montessori Floor bed / Play pen
Finely made of alder wood, this frame can be used as both a play pen and a Montessori floor bed. The interior dimensions fit an Irish king size mattress (1.5 x 2 m) perfectly. It has extra high railings (80 cm) and safe spacing (2 3/8 inches) between bars. The wood was polished and smoothed by hand. I used it initially as a play pen when my child was a baby and then a floor bed when toddlerhood came along. My little one loves sleeping in this bed, but we are moving and it won't fit in the new bedroom. The bumpers are by Konges Slojd and they can be sold with the frame at no extra charge. The frame was commissioned from Busywood, a vendor on Etsy. It can be disassembled and assembled easily. Pick up only in and around Skibbereen.
