Token Wicklow
A nice bit of history here. I got this token from an old collection from Gorey. A local would probably know what works were done there in Wicklow in1954. The token is poor on the obverse but a nice bit of history.

1. East Pier Damage & Piling Repairs
Vessel Impact Damage: In late 1954, repairs were required on the East Pier after the cargo vessel M/V Staniel damaged the pier's piling. The Wicklow Harbour Commissioners settled a claim with the ship's insurers for €76.18 (£60) to cover the damage.
Lighting Infrastructure: Repairs were also conducted on the lighting systems along the East Pier during this period following an outage caused during maintenance by the ESB (Electricity Supply Board).
