Official South African Mint commemorative set produced to mark the 100th anniversary of the South African Reserve Bank (1921–2021).

A scarce presentation set with a maximum issue of only 3,500 sets, presented in its original South African Mint wooden presentation case.

The set contains:

• 2021 R5 Proof circulation coin – 9.50 g, bi-metal alloy
• R5 Proof-Like Bi-Colour Crown – 33 g, Ag925 sterling silver with gold-plated centre
• Commemorative sterling silver banknote medallion – 28.70 g, depicting historic South African Reserve Bank banknote designs

Complete with the original Certificate of Authenticity – No. 1967, presentation material, wooden South African Mint box and protective outer covering.

The coins/medallion remain in their original capsules and the set is in excellent collectible condition. Please see photographs for exact condition.
