Rare East Germany 1989 DDR Countermarked 20 Mark coin stamp VEB Philatelie Wermsdorf

Very rare coin & stamp issue from DDR. 9 November 1989 by VEB.
VEB Philatelie Wermsdorf was a state-owned enterprise (Volkseigener Betrieb) in the German Democratic Republic (GDR/DDR/East Germany)

Old collector notes say - only 10,000 coins were countermarked - unsure exact but few of those were placed in these coin & stamps issue.

The VEB stamp only collectors issue is fairly common, but not so this countermarked 10 mark coin & stamps issue is rarely seen.(see pic for similar just the coin recently sold on its own) ~ original 20 mark 1989 Brandenburg Gate 1989 with special countermark 22.12.1994 ~ coin is placed in a holder in the stamped issue - last DDR stamp stamped Berlin 9 12 1989 - more German stamps on back stamped Erst Deutschland, dann Europa - "First Germany, then Europe."
