Norway 10 Ore 1943 German Occupation. Dull Metal

Norway 10 Ore 1943 German Occupation. Dull Metal Norway 10 Ore 1943 German Occupation. Dull Metal Coins

This piece is a World War II German Occupation coin minted at the Kongsberg Mint under Nazi administration. Because strategic metals like copper and nickel were requisitioned for the axis war machine, the coin's composition was downgraded to cheap, dull metal.

Furthermore, the occupying forces systematically removed all royal symbols to suppress Norwegian patriotism. The traditional crown of King Haakon VII and his royal motto, "Alt for Norge" (Everything for Norway), were completely stripped from the design.
Material: 99.8% Zinc (with a tiny trace of cadmium).
Weight: 1.25 grams.
Diameter: 15.0 mm
