▪︎ This is a 20 Centesimi Coin from the Kingdom of Italy dated 1918. These coins are often considered " emergency coins " because they were produced during a period when nickel was needed for military industries. They were minted during the reign of King Vittorio Emanuele III.

▪︎ Obverse : Features the Savoy Shield ( a crowned shield with a cross ) positioned between branches of laurel and oak , with the inscription " Regno D'Italia " ( Kingdom of Italy ) at the top and the engravers Initials A.M. below.
▪︎ Reverse : Shows the value and date of the coin within a Hexagon surrounded by a laurel wreath and the mint mark (R) below the date.
