Irish 1694 Halfpenny
It's the most amazing couple in history. Its four years after the battle of the Boyne and here the victor King William with the missus queen Mary. Mary was the Daughter of King James who her husband defeated at the Battle of the Boyne (4 years earlier) did not come between them. That he spoke little or no English probably helped also. Difficult to photograph this nice coin in its sealed envelope but I do not want to take it out .
