Curragh Internment Camp 1d Token, 1940.
Original WWII camp issue from The Emergency, used by Republican internees and German POWs in lieu of cash. Brass (copper-coloured), approx. 27mm. Obverse: CURRAGH / 1940 / 1d; blank reverse. Scarce Irish wartime internment token. Collection preferred to allow for inspection but registered postage is an option at cost to buyer. Could facilitate a meeting in Dublin City center or around the Dublin 15 general area.
