Complete set of all 16 federal states of Germany, Scarce vintage German first day stamp issue covers with coins.
The stamp covers each have a 100 Pfennig stamp with the coats of arms of one of each of the 16 states of Germany - all in individual holders with German info cards about that state - postmarked Berlin various years on the date the stamp was first issued

These covers was originally collected on a piece by piece cost basis & expensive, total original collecting cost was over €250 euro in today's money.

Each cover contains a Uncirculated & gilt in Gold 1 Deutsche Mark coin.
