... Well you know what your doing, what your doing is attempting to sell 50% silver at absolutely on the nail spot price ,and that simply wont work with 50%, as its not in high demand..esspecially in larger denominations.
To unload mine id have to take more or less 50% of spot.. Which is why i decided to keep it. Which is perhaps what your intention is if you cant get the price your after for it. Which is fair enough.
Even silver bullion sales have gone down drastically on this site ,because of the prices , and there is far less demand for 50% circulated scrap silver coins, due to many factors.

Dependant on personal circumstance, I myself would either hold it , or sell it ( which as previously stated is going to take work on here and drastic price drop)
and then id put the cash into an asset that will not only increase in value over time ..but is more liquid.

GLWS... Rgds.

@ivywalker: thank you so much for all of this advice. This is invaluble as I haven't a clue clearly what I am doing really. I will try and implement what you suggest.
Thanks again for your input.

Also just to say once an add slips down the listing with no bites after 48hrs .. highly likely there wont be any bites. Youl know your items are in the money when half a dozen people are watching it and youve had at least one enquiry within 8hrs of it being listed .. its a varying scale but thats just an example .
Also the majority of users on the coin section are the same people ,as in its a niche section with the same people scanning it, after a while if prices are high theyl recognise your user name and bypass your adds without really looking as theyl presume your prices too strong .

Im actually at the stage where alot of the time i dont even have to look at the add description or user name ..generally i can tell who listed it by the photos... some lads take really poor ones, and not many ,which is a general reflection of the allround service you will recieve from them. Others take really good ones, in main they are the sellers who will put effort of service into the customer ,same as they did with the photos.

Good pics sell items , and thats right across the board, doent really matter what your selling.

Cheers👋

No worries ..were all individuals but in a way all in it together ..its simply that im very fond of british milled numismatics, had they been foriegn silver i wouldnt have said anything atall. Theres lads trying to sell grotty pre 1920 halfs for touching 40e on here , they wont get it they will get 20e each like lightening .. yours should easily reach 25 each very quick, possibly a couple euro more ..but then youl start waiting .. lots of four ,plain lush red bkground, good images obverse and reverse, try to magnify and get more of the item in pic than bkground, better not to put silver price weight ect. Once you start selling to a few customers , theyl stick with you.

Cheers👍

Just to say tho , the 92.5% lot you can get listed price poss more if you sell in several small lots. I know adverts and i know how buyers minds think..esspecially buyers in the coin section. Its the section i work with most.

Its simply not as desirable as bullion coins /bars /rounds.
The small lot of pre 1920 ..will sell at 360e .. as its more desirable ..but not at listed price .
Thats my 2 cents on it ..do with it as you wish ..but i can say ive been on adverts a long time and brittish milled is my forte.

Look at my withdrawn adds at kilos of halfs and 0.5 kg of florins .. I withdrew them as i couldnt even sell at that ..even if i re-listed today at same price ..they wouldnt sell . Thats why i withdrew them all ..ive over 10 kg of it.

Try 75% of spot if you want to wait and maybe sell ..50% if you want to sell

@kierondunne: No, only 1915 and 1917. Actually some of the Half crowns go back as far as 1845 though.
