2025 Czech Mint 1 oz Silver Bullion Coin
Czech Lion 1 oz silver coin has been minted by Czech Mint since 2017 and features heraldic symbol of Bohemia, two-tailed lion. The lion was a symbol of Přemyslid dynasty and its use is documented since 1203, but appears in earlier legends. It was elevated to the emblem of the whole country by Přemysl Otakar II., the Iron and Gold King. The design varies each year, but the basic idea is the same. Reverse side features lion wearing St. Wenceslas Crown. As the coins are issued with the licence of a foreign issuer (Island of Niue), their obverse side bears its necessary attributes – the portrait of the King Charles III., the nominal value of 2 DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of issue 2024. Mintage is limited to 5,500 coins.
