'Sunday League Football' is the term that refers to the County Football Association League games which play on Sundays only, as opposed to the more usual Saturday. These leagues tend to be lower standard amateur competitions, whose players would have less time to devote to football.

This medal is hand-inscribed and dated on the reverse side (see below for details).

DESCRIPTION:
Size: 1 1/8" across (29mm).
Material(s): Brass metal with 2 vitreous enamels.
Finish: Electro-plated nickle silver (EPNS).
Fitting: Bale & suspension ring.
Imprint: Maker's mark K.Lt (probably Kirwan & Company Ltd of Birmingham) and the letters E.P.N.S.
Inscription : Hand-inscribed on reverse side LEAGUE REP XI 1954-55.
Approximate age: 1954-1955.

CONDITION:
A very good condition metal and enamel medal. No damage, bale in good condition complete with original suspension ring.
