Ireland 1941 Silver Floirin, "2s" 2 Shillings. Pop it into a New Wallet/Purse for a lovely Birthday Gift. lovely coin with lots of detail still available on this old coin. One of the lowest minted issue date of the Irish free state two shilling coin with only 400,000 minted that year
The flóirín coin was worth 1/10 of a pound and was more commonly known as the two-shilling piece. The coin comes supplied in a coin holder.

75% Silver (1928–1943)
Years of minting: 1928–1968
Design:
Obverse- Irish Harp with with éire to the left of the harp and the date, 1941 to the right .
Reverse- Features a Salmon With "Floirin - 2s" below..
The last floirins were produced in 1968 and it was withdrawn on 1 June 1994.
