1932 Poland, Silver 5 Zlotych, Very RARE, Warsaw Mint.

In 1932, during the change of the monetary circulation system, a trial batch of 5 zloty coins of the new model was minted at the Warsaw Mint, with the mint mark. During the inspection, the vast majority of coins turned out to be defective - they were not minted and the most protruding parts of the coin disappeared. Therefore, it was decided to mint the remaining part of the circulation of 5 zlotys in London. Only a small part of the coins minted in Warsaw was later put into circulation. The rest of the circulation was destroyed. Therefore, 5 zlotys of 1932 are quite rare and there are very few coins in good condition among them.

This is an original coin in a great condition that comes from my father’s collection.
